Held in New York City on February 3, 2003, the February Seminar: Bridge Cables: Assessment, Design and Erection brought together experts from the U.S., France, and Norway with state-of-the-art presentations on issues of assessment, design and erection of bridge cables. The event started with a keynote on the "World of Bridge Cables" by Gerry Fox, PE, followed by a talk on the "Construction and Rehabilitation of the Williamsburg Bridge Cables" by Henry Perahia, PE, Chief Bridge Officer of NYCDOT. Four consecutive sessions with two speakers in each session followed. The seminar was concluded with a Panel Discussion with all the presenters
